The latest incarnation of The Guild of the Forbidden Helmet is in sitcom form, and goes right back to the original concept of The Guild, namely a world in which comedy has been banned.
Comedy has been banned.
The Three Barons who Banned Comedy have taken absolute control, not only of the world, but the entire universe & dimension as we know it. Following the theory that all dissent ultimately derives from humour, they have placed a dimension-wide ban on anything remotely funny, and every living thing under their control is miserable.
But help is at hand…
Adrian & Barp have been sought out by an elemental force called the Forbidden Helmet (HELMET = Helio-Elastic Light Manipulating Elemental Transporter), which was forged during the big bang. These intrepid heroes use the powers of the #forbiddenhelmet to travel across space, time and the multiverse, outrunning and outwitting the Baron’s henchmen (the Comedy Police) with the ultimate aim of destroying the Barons and bringing back comedy.
